CRM Magic Quadrant Q4 2010

Finally salespeople are put in the first row seat in CRM softwares.

According to many websites and specialists the true leaders in CRM software are the ones that put salespeople first and promote sales effectiveness!

To my knowledge, only two leaders are targeting mid to large size sales forces: SalesForce.com and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The other two leaders (Oracle provided solutions) are either too pricey in terms of licenses or implementation and hidden costs of operation.

One of the concerns I have is that customers that are looking for CRM Solutions are often comparing softwares from the “Leaders” quadrant and the ones in the “Niche players” quadrant price and feature wise. Then they see CRM softwares as all the same while in fact most of the Leaders offer a much better solution to their needs for a few extra dollars.

    CRM can be used to solve customer’s problems too. It doesn’t always have to be about more sales. It can be used to create a true relationship that will keep a customer coming back, not just to hook them into one quick sale.

      In fact, I am working on a solution involving the service module of Dynamics Crm 4.0.
